The Dead Americans are a five-piece rock n' roll powerhouse from Eugene, Oregon. Featuring dual lead male/female vocals, they've developed their own X meets the Dandy Warhols/ Jefferson Airplane meets Nirvana alt. rock style. Smart lyrics, great musicianship and eye candy on the stage. Female lead singer Kyra Kelly embodies the punk rock spirit onstage while weaving intelligent feminist commentary into her fierce vocal performances. They’ve played shows throughout the western United States, from San Diego to Seattle, with great acts such as Shiny Toy Guns, The Start, Rayzing Sons, The Trucks, Thee Emergency and Hell's Belles. Their second album, "Devolution," is due out in early 2010.
