TheWhopner County Country All Stars have been, and are currently writing and performing songs. We play about once a month and spend the other three weeks of the month writing and arranging all kinds of songs from classic country (Loretta Lynn,Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, to name a few ) and many original tunes that vary in styles from old soul sounds reminiscent of Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, and Dusty Springfield to Elvis Costello, Hank Williams III, Wilco, etc... We have a darn tootin' good time and try to make every show fun for you and fun for us, believing that every night we play is a honky tonk saturday night and should be celebrated with as much enthusiasm, and vigor as the last. Everyone who comes recieves a complimentary sticker or button, and if they have the capacity to let their hair down, are guaranteed to have a rootin' tootin' good time under neon signs.
