Emily Rudolph
Emily Taylor Randolph is the curly-haired girl from the small town of Eatonville, WA. Now 15, she has been singing since before she won her first singing contest at the age of 8, when she won the title of South Hill Mall Idol, at Puyallup’s South Hill Mall. Emily started performing on stage at age 4 entering dance competitions which quickly turned into song and dance by age 7. By age 9, she started performing at fairs and festivals and has been coming back every year to places like The Puyallup Fair, Victorian Country Christmas, and regular gigs at places like The Swiss Pub in Tacoma. Emily has also been acting in Regional Theatre for several years now. Her favorite roles so far have been as ‘The Artful Dodger’ in Astra’s production of “Oliver” and as the beloved orphan ‘Annie’ in Stage Door’s production of “Annie” the musical. Recently she finished the role of “Ariel” in Footloose which was a blast for her!
In 2011, Emily had the amazing opportunity to be chosen as a top 10 semi-finalist in King 5 Televison’s “You’ve Got Talent” and was interviewed and sang on New Day Northwest and Evening Magazine. Top Radio Personality Fitz from 100.7 “The Wolf” also played one of Emily’s songs on his morning radio show. Earlier this year, Emily got to be part of the well –known “More Music at the Moore Theater” and also opened for Jeff Bridges at the Paramount Theater’s DOORS Benefit fundraiser. Emily is currently working on writing more of her own songs, booking shows, and making trips back and forth to LA for opportunities on a well-known TV show. She has also been travelling to Nashville with her singing and songwriting, and is thrilled to find out a song she co-wrote in Nashville will be featured in a movie called Category 5 set to release April, 2014.
